Salesbooks & commission:

10% outdoor booths, 15-20% indoor booths.
Each artist agrees to keep a 3-part receipt book (provided) with minimum customer contact information.
AATS success and growth depends on the honor system.  We sincerely appreciate your integrity on these items.
The contacts from the receipt books are invaluable for future show advertising.
Turn in your sales book and commissions to the front desk in the town hall before you leave at the end of the show.

Artists of Outdoor Booths provide their own tent and/or display equipment:

Items such as your tent, grids / panels, hangers, zip ties, tables, chair, and so forth.

Tip: White tents provide the best light to view artwork. Blue and Green are terrible.

Weights:  All booths MUST have adequate weights with a minimum of 40 lbs or more for each corner.
Find out what the optimal weight needed for their booths.
It occassionally get breezy. Last year was beautiful but still, please be prepared.
One tent was destroyed for lack of weights and we don't want that to happen again.

Insurance:  Booth artists should consider their their own insurance.
AATS carries catastrophic event insurance, but this does not cover individual booths if there is negligence.
For instance, if your display were to fall over and hurt someone, it would be considered your liability.
If you're interested, my agent is Richard Bolter 435-671-1330 richbolt@gmail.com

Security:  AATS does not have overnight security or surveillance .
It is up to each booth artist to determine if they will remove artwork each night, or not.
We have never had a problem. However, it is your call.
There is space inside the buildings if artists wish to store artwork inside, overnight.

Unloading & Parking: Artists may unload at the closest available parking spot to their booth.
Long term parking is particularly good for artists on the North side of Town Square.
Do not park in the Post Office Parking lot.

No art vans or big vehicles will be allowed to remain parked on Main Street after unloading.
Such vehicles block the view and hinder potential customers. Artists, please give up those spaces to customers.

Volunteers:

Volunteers will be available from time to time to provide water, occasional treats, and short breaks for booth artists.
They are not allowed to sell art or manage transactions. They are not liable for any losses or claims.
We have always had rave reviews about our volunteers!

Restrooms will be available in both buildings; the Miday Community center and the Town Hall.

Location of booths will be assigned in advance of the event by AATS with location preferences given to the order of dates for paid booths.
AATS reserves the right to make booth adjustments as needed but will make every attempt to honor artist requests.
Booths are spaced 10' apart for maximum viewing of art on all sides.

No abandoned booths:

Empty, unattended booths detract from the event which affects others and create a liability.
We reserve the right to remove abandoned booths.

This is a community event and subject matter is a consideration.
ATTS reseres the right to jury art onsite.

We are committed to honesty, cooperation, and fair-minded business practices.

We sincerely appreciate friends, family members and volunteers who assist us in a multitude of critical ways.

We assume and expect that artists will work together in genuine cooperation with each other.

We are grateful for those whose vision, resources and effort in decades past, established the amazing facilities we use.

We are also sincerely grateful to the Midway City Counsel, the Midway Boosters, Mayor Celeste Johnson, the Midway City staff, private donors, and to the Wasatch County Art Council for their essential and generous support.  Without them, the arts would struggle and languish, but because of them, the arts will flourish and grow.
